About Myself

💻 I’m a mathematics undergraduate with 2nd major in data science at the National University of Singapore (NUS), previously enrolled in the Special Program in Science in NUS.

🧠 I am currently working with Emtiyaz Khan at RIKEN advanced intelligence project Approx Bayes team and I previously worked with Kevin Murphy (Google AI research) and Mahmoud Soliman (Nvidia) for Google Summer of Code to help out with his textbook PyprobML. I also previously worked on refining sample from generative models which lead to a publication at ICLR21 with Prof. Harold Soh and Adubl Fatir.

💼 I work as a part-time trainer for Tertiary Courses teaching Tensorflow, Pytorch, Sklearn and Python. I also previously helped out in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) with some data science projects during my 2-years conscripted.

• Dec 2020 I begun a 1-year research programme as part of my mathematics UROPs at NUS on generative modelling.
• May 2020 I joined CLeAR as a undergraduate researcher.
• Aug 2019 I joined NUS as an undegraduate.
• Apr 2019 I joined Ket SG as a Machine Learning Intern
• Jun 2018 I won 2nd-runner up for the SC Asia AI compeition for implementing searching to activation functions.
• Apr 2018 Got another Bronze medal on Kaggle for Data Science Bowl 2018, this time top 6%
• Sept 2017 Presented about GANs at Facebook APAC HQ for pytorch meetup group in Singapore
• Apr 2017 Got my first Bronze medal on Kaggle for Data Science Bowl 2017
• Jan 2017 I won best roll at HacknRoll 2017 for LAMO a leap motion rhythm games.
